I love exploring all different kinds of art, but painting has always been my primary love. I use acrylics mostly although when I'm away at the beach i take watercolors along (so easy to carry and there is water everywhere). I love using bright colors and lots of layers. As I mentioned earlier, dogs are one of my favorite subject matters along with mermaids and the beach! Really just anything that pops into my brain. I believe it is important to stay open when creating. If you are being called in a certain direction...towards a different subject matter, or a new medium (like digital), or even to colors you don't usually use, go for it. answer the call! You just never know what wonderful things will appear as you follow your creativity.
